We are currently seeking experienced and reliable Shuttering Carpenters to join a busy construction site located at Tilbury Docks, Essex. In this role, you will be responsible for constructing, installing, and dismantling temporary wooden, steel, or plastic formwork/molds for wet concrete to form foundations, walls, columns, staircases, and beams.
Location: Tilbury Docks, Essex
Employment Type: Temporary / Contract (CIS)
Pay Rate: £25.00 - £28.00 per hour
Day Rate Equivalent: £240 - £250 per day
Start Date: Immediate / Next Week
Key Responsibilities:- Read, interpret, and work accurately from complex structural drawings and blueprints.
- Measure, cut, assemble, and secure timber, plywood, and steel formwork for concrete pours (columns, slabs, walls, and beams).
- Ensure all shuttering is level, aligned, fully reinforced, and capable of holding wet concrete.
- Safely dismantle (strip) formwork once the concrete has fully cured.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area, adhering strictly to site health and safety procedures.
- Valid Blue CSCS Skilled Worker Card (Formwork / Shuttering Carpentry preferred).
