Contract: 22/06/2026 - 31/12/2026
Hours: 40 hours per week (8:00 AM - 4:30 PM)
Reporting directly to the Principal Engineer, you will be the linchpin for the 3D design and coordination of critical water infrastructure. Your focus will be on creating smart, maintainable layouts for wet wells, pump chambers, and ductile iron pipework.
Your daily responsibilities will include:
- Producing high-quality 3D models and detailed general arrangement drawings (GAs) utilising Revit.
- Developing layouts for wet/dry well pumping stations, concrete pump chambers, ductile iron/epoxy-coated carbon steel pipework, valves, and support systems.
- Coordinating and integrating third-party vendor equipment packages into the master plant layout.
- Modelling access platforms, stairs, handrails, and maintenance accessways that comply fully with Client and Industry standards.
- Actively contributing to Access, Lifting and Maintenance reviews (ALMs) and collaborating across civil, structural, mechanical, and electrical teams to ensure clash-free models.
What We Are Looking For
- An HNC in Mechanical Engineering or an equivalent qualification.
- A understanding of wet/dry well pumping stations, pipe support systems, plant layout principles, and the ability to interpret P&IDs and equipment data sheets.
- Familiarity with relevant piping design codes and strict health and safety requirements.
