About the Role
Looking for a stable, daytime maintenance role with a great work-life balance? We are hiring a Premises Officer to manage planned and reactive building maintenance at a single, static site in Derby with zero late-night call-outs or weekend work.
Key Responsibilities
- Fabric Maintenance: Painting, decorating, fault finding, and general timber repairs.
- Compliance Checks: Monthly water tap temperatures, flushing, fire alarm/lighting checks, and meter readings.
- Site Support: Subcontractor supervision, stock ordering, porterage, and minor landscape upkeep.
- Health Safety: Assisting with site H S compliance, Risk Assessments, and Method Statements (RAMS).
Requirements
- Time-served or qualified tradesperson (Fabric / Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer).
- Practical experience in building repairs with basic plumbing/electrical knowledge.
