Monday-Friday 08:00-16:00
Main Duties include:
- Apply various paints, varnishes, and stains in student rooms and communal areas, following manufacturer instructions and considering the high-traffic environment.
- Perform painting and decorating tasks as directed, focusing on durable and presentable finishes suitable for student living spaces.
- Address mould issues and carry out emulsion and wallpapering of walls and ceilings in student accommodation.
Skills:
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in student rooms and shared spaces.
- Proficiency in safely using ladders and scaffolding, while being mindful of students and their belongings.
- Strong communication skills to understand and follow instructions and liaise with management and students.
- A keen eye for detail and the ability to produce high-quality, durable finishes.
- Manual dexterity and the ability to adapt to different room layouts and schedules.
- Resilience and the ability to handle feedback and work under pressure.
