About the Role:
We are looking for a technically strong Section Engineer or Site Engineer who has package management experience on major construction projects. The ideal candidate will have a solid background delivering complex packages such as fit-out, blockwork, internals, flooring, and cladding .
You\’ll play a key role in overseeing works from planning through to execution, working with subcontractors, ensuring compliance, and reporting into the Package or Project Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage specific work packages including fit-out, blockwork, internals, cladding, and flooring .
- Support the delivery team in ensuring works are carried out to program and quality standards.
- Supervise subcontractors and site teams to maintain productivity and HSE compliance.
- Liaise with design teams and resolve technical queries.
- Prepare ITPs, check drawings/specs, and maintain QA documentation.
- Support with temporary works and coordinate inspections as required.
Requirements:
- Experience as a Section Engineer / Site Engineer on large-scale infrastructure or build projects.
- Proven package management responsibility in at least two of the following: Fit-Out, Internals, Cladding, Flooring, or Blockwork .
- Strong understanding of site coordination, QA, and HSE practices.
- SMSTS / SSSTS and CSCS required.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
