Are you a versatile tradesperson looking for long-term stability on one of the North's most significant construction projects? We are seeking a key operative / handyman to join a massive military infrastructure project in the Catterick area.
As a key operative, you will be the "go-to" person for the site management team, handling everything from semi-skilled trade support to high-level finishing and site maintenance.
- Multi-Trade Support: Carrying out basic carpentry, masonry, and painting tasks. Assisting with hoarding, temporary partitions, and welfare facilities.
- General Maintenance: Ensuring the site remains operational and safe throughout the project.
Mandatory Security Requirement: Due to the nature of the project being on Ministry of Defence (MoD) land, all successful candidates must undergo a BPSS (Baseline Personnel Security Standard) check. Have a valid Passport or full Birth Certificate. Provide a continuous 3-year employment/education history. Undergo a Basic Disclosure (DBS) check. Valid CSCS Card (Blue Skilled Worker card preferred). Proven multi-skilled background (knowledge of basic trades is essential). Full PPE and your own basic tool kit for snagging and maintenance.
