Location: St Helens, Warrington
Type: Full time, Permanent
Hours: 4 on 4 off, 6am-6pm, 6pm-6am
Salary:£50,000 per year

My client, a glass manufacturer, is seeking a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer for their St Helen's site. They value teamwork and innovative approaches. You will have the chance to work on different projects and you will also enjoy a competitive salary, as well as career progression opportunities long term. The role offers the chance to work on very exciting new projects with highly skilled and experienced engineers.
This position offers the opportunity to work on a wide range of machinery, contributing to projects and being involved in performing maintenance and reactive tasks.
Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for the completion of reactive and planned maintenance.
Responsibilities will include:
- Performing reactive and preventative maintenance on a wide range of machinery including pneumatic and automation systems
- Mechanical and Electrical work, including PLC basic programming
- Fault finding and problem solving on electrical control systems
- Initiating and implementing new projects
- Working with 3 phase motors, inverters, control panels etc.
- Experience with isolations and LOTO
Requirements:
- Apprenticeship/Time Served or HNC/HND in Electrical Engineering
- PLC knowledge
- FMCG manufacturing industry experience
- Knowledge of health and safety
