Hiring: Manufacturing Technician I (12-Month Contract)

Location: Loughborough - Bakewell Road (Onsite)

Duration: 12 Months

Shift Pattern: Days (Monday - Friday), alternating weeks between 06:00 - 14:00 and 13:45 - 21:45 (Includes a 14% shift allowance)

Role Overview

An exceptional opportunity has opened for a highly motivated individual to join a world-class manufacturing team. As a Manufacturing Technician, you will play a crucial role in supporting production, packing, and quality control operations in a fast-paced environment.

What will you do?

  • Pack chemicals into various containers and outer packaging following strict safety protocols.
  • Use a diverse array of measuring and weighing equipment.
  • Assemble packs correctly, sealing and labeling them accurately to align with UN regulations.
  • Ensure batch numbers and chemical code numbers match labels and product containers.
  • Complete data entry transactions on a computer-based system for finished materials.
  • Prioritise and safely move containers of chemicals ranging from sacks to drums.
  • Carry out routine quality inspections and maintain workplace equipment.
