Job Description
Job Title: Maintenance Engineer
Location: Worcester, Worcestershire
Type: Full time, Permanent
Monday to Friday – DAYS ONLY – 40 hrs/week
Hours: 7:30am-4pm
Salary:£40,000 – £45,000 circa
Benefits: Company wide bonus scheme, flexibility on hours, 33 days total holiday etc.
The Company:
My client, a national Plastics Manufacturer, is seeking a Maintenance Engineer for their site on the outskirts of central Worcester. They operate across 4 expanding sites within the UK where they value collaborative and innovative approaches across the sites which are constantly expanding. You will have the chance to work on new projects that are coming up, ensuring the quality of all new products. You will be able to enjoy a competitive salary and benefits.
This position offers the opportunity to work on a wide range of machinery, contributing to projects and being involved in performing maintenance and reactive tasks.
Reporting to the Site Director, you will be responsible for the completion of reactive and planned maintenance.
Responsibilities will include:
- Performing reactive and preventative maintenance on a wide range of machinery including, hydraulics and injection moulding.
- Mechanical and Electrical work.
- Fault finding and problem solving on electrical control systems.
- Some general maintenance work.
- Mentoring of apprentices on site.
Requirements:
- Knowledge of electrical systems such as PLC's,, drives motors etc.
- 17th, 18th edition or a relevant electrical qualification.
- Previous manufacturing experience.
