The Role
Are you a precision-driven Engineer with a strong mechanical background and a "can-do" attitude toward building maintenance? We are seeking a Mechanical-Biased Multi-Skilled Engineer to join the onsite team at a high-end, flagship commercial head office in the heart of Zone 1.
Key Responsibilities
- Mechanical Lead: Lead the PPM (Planned Preventative Maintenance) and reactive repairs on HVAC systems, pumps, motors, seals, pressurized systems, and AHUs/FCUs.
- Multi-Skilled Support: Assist with minor electrical tasks (lamp changes, ballast resets) and general building fabric repairs as required.
- System Monitoring: Regularly monitor BMS (Building Management Systems) to ensure optimal climate control and energy efficiency.
- Contractor Management: Oversee specialist sub-contractors, ensuring all work meets the high standards of the site and adheres to Health & Safety regulations.
- Compliance: Maintain accurate digital logs of all works completed, ensuring the site remains fully compliant with industry standards.
What We're Looking For
- Qualifications: Level 2/3 City & Guilds/NVQ in Mechanical Engineering or Plumbing & Heating (or equivalent).
- Experience: Proven track record in a commercial office environment (preferably high-end or "Blue Chip" corporate spaces).
Candidates must be eligible to live and work in the UK.
