About the Role
We are currently recruiting an experienced Telehandler Driver for a one-week holiday cover assignment on a fast-paced new build housing development in Lichfield.
You will be playing a crucial role in keeping the site moving safely and efficiently-handling material deliveries, unloading wagons, supplying various trades with materials, and maintaining an organized compound.
Key Responsibilities
- Operating a telescopic handler safely and efficiently in a high-volume, fast-paced housing site environment.
- Unloading deliveries from suppliers and offloading materials safely across the development.
- Supplying bricklayers, carpenters, and other site trades with materials as required.
- Assisting the Site Manager with general site logistics and maintaining compound safety.
Key Requirements
- Qualifications: Valid CPCS Blue Card or NPORS Card (with CSCS logo) (Essential).
- Experience: Proven track record operating telehandlers on busy, fast-paced new build residential/housing sites.
- Safety: Full PPE (Hard hat, high-vis, safety boots) and a sharp awareness of site safety.
- Locality: Must be able to commute reliably to Lichfield for a 7:30 AM start.
