The Role: We are urgently recruiting 4 x General Operatives to support a major building clearance project within the high-security environment of HMNB Clyde (Faslane). This is a specific "muck-out" and clearance role involving the removal of loose items and debris from a large-scale building prior to the next phase of redevelopment. Please note: This is a clearance and logistics role, not a soft-strip or demolition position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Building Clearance: Efficiently removing loose items, furniture, and non-structural debris from a large building.
- Material Handling: Moving items to designated collection points or skips in accordance with site logistics plans.
- Site Safety: Adhering to the strict security and safety protocols required on a live Ministry of Defence (MOD) base.
- General Support: Assisting the site management team with maintaining a clear and safe working environment.
Mandatory Requirements:
- Security Clearance: You MUST hold a current and valid SC (Security Check) clearance. We cannot process new clearances for this short-term start.
- Tickets: Valid CSCS Card or CCDO Card (Green or Blue).
- Local Residency: This role is for local candidates only (Helensburgh/Dumbarton/Glasgow area). There is no allowance for travel or accommodation (Digs).
- Reliability: Ability to pass daily security checks at the gate and commit to an ASAP start.
