An exceptional opportunity has arisen for a seasoned Planner or Senior Planner delivering critical public sector infrastructure across the West of Scotland. This role offers long-term stability on a major multi-year framework, driving complex pre-construction strategies and live site delivery.
Security Requirements
- Nationality: Must hold sole British Citizenship (dual nationality cannot be accepted due to site security protocols).
- Clearance: Must be eligible and willing to undergo Security Clearance (SC) prior to site access.
Key Responsibilities
- Tender & Pre-Construction Strategy: Develop logic-linked design, procurement, and construction programmes (P6/Asta). Produce method statements, logistics plans, and temporary works schedules.
- Supply Chain Engagement: Work closely with sub-contractors to refine delivery assumptions and hit Tender Activity Programme (TAP) deadlines.
- Risk & Governance: Integrate project risks into registers, build clear phasing plans, and present key metrics at settlement meetings.
- Live Operations & Controls: Partner with Project Managers to build baseline master schedules and maintain site progress reporting.
- Capability Building: Support on-site teams with progress tracking frameworks and periodic schedule updates.
Essential Requirements
- Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Primavera P6 or Asta Powerproject. Strong background in project controls, cost/risk analysis, and commercial baselining.
- Experience: Proven track record in multi-disciplinary construction (refurbishment, new build, or complex infrastructure).
- Qualifications: HNC/HND (or equivalent) in a relevant construction discipline alongside a valid CSCS card.
