Location: Croydon, Surrey / South London (Hybrid and flex available)
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Salary: £NEG Salary to £43.5k basic + Pension + enhanced holiday + Corporate Benefits

The Role
As a Service Charge Accountant, you will manage end-to-end service charge accounting for a dedicated property portfolio, working closely with Property Managers, clients, and auditors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare year-end service charge accounts following RICS Codes of Practice and ARMA rules.
- Manage accruals, prepayments, developer voids, income splits, and balancing adjustments.
- Coordinate client audits, submit VAT returns to HMRC, and issue Section 20b notices.
- Resolve complex accounting queries with property managers, freeholders, and RMCs.
- Assist with the financial on boarding of newly acquired properties.
What We Are Looking For
- Experience as a Service Charge Accountant, Portfolio Accountant, or Block Property Accountant.
- Strong knowledge of residential property management regulations (RICS, ARMA-Q).
- Hands-on experience with property accounting systems (e.g., Qube, Yardi, Tramps) and MS Excel.
- Excellent numerical precision, time management, and communication skills.
- Candidate keen to develop and progress
