Are you an experienced Control Room Operator? My client, a major highways management contractor, is looking for multiple Control Room Operators / Customer Service Agents to work with them on a long-term contract which could turn into a permanent role. This role is part of a 30-year Framework with National Highways.
This Dartford-based role will include working in a team in a control room environment where you will have a mixture of busy and quiet shifts. Duties include:
- Providing customer service support
- Alerting the emergency services and highways maintenance operatives of any incidents on the M25
- Deploying resources
- Logging all incident information and maintaining a comprehensive timeline
- Making arrangements for the clean-up and repair
The selected candidates will be working 48 hours a week on shift patterns of 4 days on, 4 days off - this is made up of 2 Day shifts and 2 Night shifts!
Offering: £15.00 per hour. You must be able to drive for this role as the office is based right by the Dartford Crossing, so you will need to drive to work. The selected candidate will also need to spend up to 2 weeks in the South Mimms training Centre.
This is a freelance role, so you will be paid WEEKLY via Randstad as the agency. We are open to all candidates with some level of customer service experience, whether it be in similar control room roles, working in a retail store, supermarket, delivery driver, or roles where you are used to being on the phone, e.g., the emergency services.
