We are seeking an experienced and professional Telehandler Operator for a short-term contract in Burton-on-Trent. This role is providing essential holiday cover on a busy, fast-paced residential housing site.

The Details

  • Start Date: Tuesday, 26th May
  • Duration: 2 Weeks (Holiday Cover)
  • Location: Burton-on-Trent (Residential Site)
  • Rate: Competitive hourly rate (dependent on experience/payment Method)

Key Responsibilities

  • Material Distribution: Safely transporting materials (bricks, blocks, timber, etc.) across the site to support various trades.
  • Loading/Unloading: Efficiently managing deliveries and ensuring stock is stored correctly.
  • Site Safety: Operating the machine in a safe manner, adhering to site speed limits and pedestrian management plans.
  • Daily Checks: Performing routine maintenance and safety checks on the telehandler.

Requirements

  • To be considered for this role, you must possess one of the following valid cards:
    • CPCS Blue Card (Competent Operator)
    • NPORS (With CSCS Logo)
  • Full PPE (Hard hat, High-vis, Steel toe boots).
  • Proven experience working on housing sites.
  • Reliable transport to the Burton-on-Trent area.
  • Strong communication skills to coordinate with the Site Manager and subcontractors.

Candidates must be eligible to live and work in the UK.
