About the Role:
We are currently seeking a skilled and reliable Building Technician to join our dynamic facilities team. In this key role, you will be responsible for the day-to-day maintenance and upkeep of our building, ensuring a safe, functional, and well-presented environment for all users.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out general building maintenance and repairs (carpentry, plumbing, basic electrics, painting/decorating, etc.)
- Respond to reactive maintenance issues in a timely and effective manner
- Conduct routine inspections of the premises to identify and address potential issues
- Support planned preventative maintenance (PPM) schedules
- Liaise with external contractors and suppliers when needed
- Maintain accurate records of work completed and materials used
- Ensure compliance with all relevant health & safety regulations
What We're Looking For:
- Proven experience in a similar building maintenance or facilities role
- Multi-trade skills (e.g., plumbing, carpentry, basic electrical)
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
