We are working with a Tier 1 contractor based near Reading to recruit a new Building Services/Technical Manager for the business. The company is a national brand with an excellent reputation in their chosen marketplace and has excellent long-term relationships with clients, subcontractors and the wider supply chain. They have a forward-thinking approach to staff engagement and there are opportunities to grow and develop your career with them.
The regional office is based near Reading but the geographical area covers the M4 Corridor, Thames Valley and Oxfordshire. They target work in the education, public sector, retail, leisure and commercial marketplaces on negotiated and framework opportunities. Turnover for 2025 and 2026 has been secured.

- New build Higher Education
- Primary Schools
- Leisure and Retail developments
- Local authority schemes
- NHS projects
All projects have been won on a 2-stage process through a range of frameworks such as SCF, Pagabo and DFE, with values ranging from £20 to £90 million.
The role involves taking full responsibility for the services packages across a range of projects. You will be involved with the bid and estimating teams at the preconstruction stage to assess feasibility, programme times and buildability of the schemes. You will work with the design and commercial teams and subcontractors to establish best practice, pricing and procedures for the schemes.
