Position: Construction Planner
Location: Fareham, Hampshire
Salary: £75k-£95k + (Car Allowance + Package)
Our client is a well-established Tier 1 contractor who operates across the South. Year on year they go from strength to strength and due to business demands, they are now recruiting for a Construction Planner to join their busy team. Due to the project, you would need eligibility for security clearance or already have this obtained.
Summary of Role: Responsible for the Planning function on large (or complex) tenders and sites involving complex and detailed analysis of large volumes of information. Ensuring that the optimum sequence to deliver the project is reflected in the programme.
Key Responsibilities:
- Use ASTA Power Projects is an absolute must
- Lead planning for large tenders and sites valued in excess of £30m - £100m+
- Develop comprehensive project programmes
- Verify and challenge suppliers' programmes
- Liaise on temporary works and obtain designs
- Compile adjudication books and assist with project reports
- Assess progress against programmes and report findings
- Update project programmes in line with contracts
- Implement change control processes effectively
- Contribute to cost management and positive cash flow
- Work on site when needed and attend progress meetings
