Job Title: Pre-Boarder (Drylining / Plasterboarding)
The following information provides an overview of the skills, qualities, and qualifications needed for this role.
Location: Stockton-on-Tees
Pay Rate: Β£18 per hour (Umbrella)
Duties Include:
- Preparing internal timber or steel stud frames for drywall installation.
- Applying sealant/silicone and installing thermal/acoustic insulation into wall cavities prior to boarding.
- Checking frame alignments, cut-outs, and tape work to ensure surfaces are prepped for dryliners.
- Assisting the wider trade team with general site prep and material handling.
- Maintaining a safe, clean, and organised working area in accordance with site safety standards.
Requirements:
- Valid CSCS Card.
- Previous experience in pre-boarding, insulation installation, or general drylining prep work.
- Full PPE (steel toe boots, hi-vis, hard hat, safety glasses, gloves).
- Own standard hand tools for preparation and sealing work.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and good attention to detail.
