Job Title: M&E Manager / Building Services Manager

Location: Shoreditch, London

Project: High-End Hotel & Members' Club

Salary: Circa Β£100,000 per annum + Package (Permanent)

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced M&E Manager / Building Services Manager for a flagship hotel and private members' club project in Shoreditch.

This is a great opportunity to join a strong project team and take full responsibility for overseeing all mechanical and electrical services installations on site, through to commissioning and final handover. Beyond mechanical systems, you will lead complex electrical, BMS, lighting, and IT technology installations required for a luxury hospitality scheme.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and manage mechanical and electrical subcontractors on site.

  • Coordinate M&E installations to ensure alignment with the project programme.

  • Review and assess drawings, specifications, and technical submissions.

  • Chair and lead building services coordination meetings.

  • Ensure installation quality while maintaining strict health and safety compliance.

  • Manage commissioning activities and oversee final system handover.

Requirements

  • Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Building Services Engineering (Essential).

  • Experience as an M&E Manager on high-end commercial or hospitality projects.

  • Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, BMS, and lighting control systems.

  • Hands-on experience overseeing IT, technology, and AV packages.

  • Proven track record managing subcontractors and multi-disciplinary services packages.

  • Valid CSCS card and SMSTS / SSSTS.
