Pay Rate: £15.07 - £16.55 skilled labourer / £14.24 PAYE for labourer per hour (PAYE / Umbrella / CIS available)
About the Role
We are recruiting an experienced and hard-working Skilled Labourer / Labourer for an ongoing position starting on Monday, 21st September 2026 on a busy construction project in Chatham.
This role requires an operative with a proven track record of assisting specialized trades, operating basic tools, and helping maintain smooth site operations on a major local development.
Key Responsibilities

Assisting skilled trades (carpenters, bricklayers, groundworkers) with site preparation, assembly, and installation tasks.

Operating basic power tools and hand tools safely as directed by the Site Manager.

Offloading deliveries, moving materials efficiently, and keeping work areas supplied.

Carrying out minor structural prep work, patching, and general site maintenance.

Adhering strictly to site health & safety regulations and maintaining clean work zones.
Requirements

Valid Blue CSCS Card (Skilled Worker card essential-please do not apply with a green card).

Full PPE (Steel toe-cap boots, high-vis vest/jacket, hard hat, and gloves).

Proven experience as a Skilled Labourer or trade assistant on commercial or residential construction sites.

Comfortable operating basic hand and power tools.

Punctual, reliable, and physically fit for active site work.

Right to work in the UK.
Working Hours & Benefits

Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM (40-45 hours per week).

Start Date: Monday, 21st September 2026.

Duration: Ongoing long-term work.

Pay Options: Flexible weekly payment via PAYE, Umbrella, or CIS (£15.07 - £16.55/hr depending on pay option and experience).
