Role: Senior Project Manager (Civil Engineering Infrastructure)
Rate: Β£600-Β£700 a day inside IR35
Location: Skye
Duration: 4-6 months
About the Role
My Client is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead the Civil Engineering Infrastructure and Access Road Works for the high-profile project in skye. In this pivotal role, you will safely oversee all aspects of civil construction, coordinate design outputs with external partners, lead procurement, and manage site operations. You will work closely with the Construction Director to integrate civil works with HV tower construction and underground cabling.
Key Responsibilities

Safety & Environment: Drive zero-tolerance safety standards, conduct site inspections, and manage environmental impacts.

Project Delivery & Quality: Manage subcontractor, plant, and labour resources to execute works on time and budget. Champion defect avoidance to achieve zero defects at completion.

Leadership: Directly manage a multidisciplinary team (Project, Health & Safety, Quality, and Environmental Managers).

Commercial & Client Interface: Serve as a key liaison to our client, SSEN, proactively managing contract risks, variations, and progress reporting.
Requirements

Qualifications: ONC, HNC, or Degree in Civil Engineering with a valid Manager's CSCS Card.

Experience: Minimum 10 years of professional civil engineering experience, with a heavy emphasis on linear transportation/access road infrastructure.

Skills: Strong contractual acumen, proficiency in developing RAMS, ITPs, and programmes, with a proven track record of managing complex teams.
