This is an immediate start opportunity for a setting-out engineer who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is comfortable taking active charge of daily site management. The Role Reporting to the Project Manager, you will drive technical accuracy on the ground while taking responsibility for subcontractor management. Your day-to-day will involve: Setting Out: Executing precise dimensional control for pile foundations, array frames, inverter stations, perimeter fencing, and internal access tracks. Subcontractor Management: Managing small specialist subcontractors on site, keeping teams organized, and driving daily production targets. Quality Assurance: Managing quality control on the ground, carrying out as-built surveys, and ensuring installations meet project specifications. Site Supervision: Keeping detailed daily site diaries, tracking progress against lookahead schedules, and resolving technical site queries quickly.
