We are looking for a dedicated individual to join our team and help keep our facilities running smoothly on the South Coast! Key Details & Compensation This is a full-time, permanent position based in Portsmouth, Hampshire . Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM . Salary: Up to £30,000 per annum (Dependent on Experience). Generous Leave: 25 days annual leave plus Bank Holidays. Financial Security: Excellent Company Pension Scheme . What You\’ll Be Doing As our Handyperson, you will be responsible for a wide variety of maintenance and repair tasks across our property/properties. Your day-to-day duties will include, but are not limited to: General Maintenance & Repairs: Executing minor carpentry, plumbing, painting, and decorating tasks. Fixture & Fitting: Installing shelving, curtain rails, notice boards, and other fittings. Inspections: Conducting routine checks and identifying areas requiring maintenance or repair. Health & Safety: Ensuring all work areas and premises meet health and safety standards. Team Support: Assisting other tradespeople or contractors as required. Problem Solving: Responding promptly to maintenance requests and troubleshooting issues. About You Proven experience in a similar Handyperson, Maintenance, or Multi-Trade role. A strong, practical working knowledge across multiple trades (e.g., basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry). Ability to work independently, manage your time effectively, and prioritise tasks. Excellent communication skills and a friendly, professional manner. A commitment to maintaining high standards of work and adherence to safety regulations.
