My client, a industry-leading Principal Contractor within the civil engineering sector are seeking an experienced P-Way to join their high-profile rail infrastructure project in the West Midlands.
Candidate
Responsibilities: Oversight of track-laying activities, including S&C (Switches and Crossings), plain line renewal, and ballast management Act as the technical point of contact on-site, ensuring works align with approved AFC drawings and specifications.
Manage and produce Task Briefing Sheets, Work Package Plans (WPPs), and Quality Plans.
Ensure all ITPs (Inspection and Test Plans) are completed and signed off.
Coordinate or perform topographic surveys and setting out for track geometry, ensuring tolerances are met for line and level.
Maintain accurate daily site diaries, shift reports, and progress tracking against the project baseline.
Candidate
Requirements: HNC/HND or Degree in Civil Engineering Proven track record in P-Way engineering within a Tier 1 or Tier 2 contracting environment.
Deep understanding of track geometry, gauging, and track components.
