About the Role
Are you a sharp, tech-savvy logistics leader who thrives on keeping supply chains moving smoothly from anywhere? We are partnering with a global pioneer in renewable energy, to find a dynamic Warehouse Team Leader. In this unique remote-first role, you will oversee warehouse performance digitally while occasionally traveling to various site locations across the UK and Europe to keep operations aligned and efficient. If you have a knack for data, a passion for green energy, and the ability to lead diverse teams virtually, we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
- Team Leadership & Coaching: Leading virtual stand-ups, managing shift handovers, and providing remote coaching and HR support.
- Operational Efficiency: Monitoring WMS performance in real-time, resolving bottlenecks, and tracking overall workforce efficiency.
- Inventory & Quality Control: Keeping a close eye on inventory accuracy, quality assurance, and coordinating closely with vendors and carriers.
- Cross-Department Collaboration: Working hand-in-hand with various internal departments and producing clear performance reports.
What We Are Looking For
To succeed in this role, you must be highly organized, comfortable with remote leadership, and possess hands-on experience with the following tools:
- Warehouse Management Systems (WMS): Proficiency in at least one major platform, such as SAP, Manhattan Active, Oracle NetSuite, or Blue Yonder.
- Collaboration & Communication: Expert-level familiarity with Microsoft Teams, Slack, Zoom, and digital whiteboards.
- Data & Analytics: Experience using Power BI, Tableau, or advanced Excel to analyze shipping trends and track workforce metrics.
- Mobility: Flexibility to travel to Vestas warehouses across the UK and Europe as required.
