Shift Pattern: Monday - Friday (Alternating / Fixed: 07:00 - 15:00 or 15:00 - 23:00)

Pay Rate: £13.86/hr + 22% Shift Allowance (Salary Equivalent: £27,027 per annum)

About the Role

We are seeking detail-oriented Visual Inspectors to join our production team in Swindon. In this role, you will be responsible for performing manual visual inspections of filled vials to ensure high product quality and strict compliance with GMP standards. Your work directly ensures that only safe, compliant products proceed to the next stage of production or distribution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform manual visual inspections of filled vials under controlled conditions (e.g., specialised lighting and inspection booths).
  • Detect and segregate defective units, including particulate matter, cosmetic issues (scratches, cracks, chips), fill volume discrepancies, and container closure concerns.
  • Strictly follow approved SOPs, batch records, and inspection procedures in line with GMP, GDP, and Data Integrity principles.
  • Accurately document inspection results following Good Documentation Practice.
  • Report any abnormalities, quality trends, or concerns to site supervision.
  • Participate in regular qualification, re-qualification, and vision checks.

What We Are Looking For

Key Skills: High level of concentration over extended periods, strong attention to detail, and a self-driven mindset.

Visual Acuity: Ability to pass a visual acuity check (with or without correction).

Education: Elementary (GCSE-level) English and Mathematics.

Experience (Preferred): Prior experience in a regulated production environment (pharmaceutical, food, or manufacturing) is a plus.
