Role Overview

We are seeking a Land Surveyor to join a major high-speed rail and linear infrastructure programme. This white-collar technical role bridges spatial data processing, BIM design teams, and live site construction operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Survey Control: Establish and maintain high-precision primary survey networks across linear civil assets (tunnels, viaducts, earthworks).
  • Data & BIM Integration: Process CAD/3D point-cloud data and integrate spatial surveys directly into BIM (ISO 19650) workflows.
  • As-Built Verification: Conduct dimensional audits to ensure construction meets strict design tolerances.
  • Technical Reporting: Produce quality survey reports, method statements, and geometric compliance docs for engineering leads.

Requirements

  • Education: Degree/HND in Surveying, Geomatics, or Civil Engineering.
  • Experience: 3+ years on major civil engineering or linear transport infrastructure.
  • Software: Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, Leica Infinity / Trimble Business Centre, and GIS.
  • Certifications: Valid CSCS card; CICES or RICS membership (or working towards).
