We are seeking an experienced and fully certified telehandler driver for a temporary holiday cover role on a busy new build housing site in South Queensferry. This is a crucial position to ensure materials are moved efficiently during the cover period. Key Responsibilities Safely operating the Telehandler on site, transporting and positioning materials (e.g., roof trusses, bricks, timber) to designated working areas. Loading and unloading delivery vehicles promptly and securely. Conducting mandatory daily pre-start safety checks on the machine and accurately reporting any defects. Working closely with the Site Management and various trade teams across the development. Strictly adhering to all site Health & Safety regulations and lifting procedures. Essential Requirements A valid CPCS or NPORS telehandler certification is mandatory. Proven experience operating a telescopic handler, ideally on a busy residential construction site. Strong knowledge of safe working practices, including load stability and signalling. Reliability, punctuality, and excellent communication skills. Full UK driving licence. Must have your own suitable Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
