Workplace: Onsite

Shift Pattern: Monday - Friday (Rotating shifts: 07:00 - 15:00 or 15:00 - 23:00)

Pay Rate: £13.86/hr + 22% shift allowance

About the Role

We are looking for detail-oriented Visual Inspectors to join our production team in Swindon. In this role, you will perform manual visual inspections of filled vials under controlled conditions to ensure top-quality standards before products move to the next stage of production.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform manual visual inspections of filled vials in controlled inspection booths.
  • Identify and remove defective units (e.g., visible particulate matter, cosmetic defects, cracks, chips, or fill volume issues).
  • Maintain clear separation between accepted and rejected items.
  • Record inspection results accurately following Good Documentation Practices (GDP).
  • Comply strictly with standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety guidelines.
  • Participate in routine vision checks and qualification assessments.

Requirements

  • Education: GCSE-level Mathematics and English (or equivalent).
  • Must pass a required visual acuity check (vision correction is fine).
  • High level of concentration, focus, and consistency during routine tasks.
  • Strong attention to detail and self-motivation.

Preferred Experience

  • Prior experience in pharmaceutical, food manufacturing, or another regulated production environment.
  • Basic understanding of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) principles.
