Mobile Electrical Maintenance Engineer – Are you a qualified Mobile Electrical Maintenance Engineer looking for a new challenge? We are seeking a skilled individual to join a premier Facilities Maintenance team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an engineer who values a stable Monday to Friday schedule, a localized service patch, and the backing of a well-established organization.

Salary: £38,000 per annum

Schedule: Monday - Friday

Location: Primarily Bristol to Cheltenham (covering hospitals), with occasional visits to Oxford.

Call-Out Rota: 1-in-5 rotation (£100 standby allowance).

Responsibilities

  • PPM & Reactive Maintenance: Conduct Planned Preventative Maintenance and respond promptly to breakdowns.
  • Minor Installations: Undertake projects related to power supply, lighting, and power distribution.
  • Diagnostics: Troubleshoot electrical faults to ensure timely and effective repairs.
  • Compliance: Ensure all work meets health and safety regulations and maintain accurate records.
  • Collaboration: Work with the team to ensure smooth operations across client sites.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Qualified: NVQ Level 3 or City & Guilds in Electrical Installation.
  • Accredited: AM2 certificate.
  • Knowledge: Up-to-date 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
  • Experience: Proven background in electrical maintenance and repair.
  • Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • License: A valid UK driver’s license is essential.
