Randstad C&P is seeking an experienced HVAC engineer, on behalf of a national Facilities Management client. The successful candidates should have experience in air conditioning, air handling, and heat recovery units. This is a static role based in Belfast. This position is a with full-time, fixed-term 9 month contract – with the core working hours being from Monday to Friday, 45 hours per week.

The Package:

Competitive salary of up to £19.50 per hour (depending on experience)
Core hours Monday to Friday (45-hour week)
9 month fixed-term contract
All tools and equipment provided
Overtime opportunities Main Duties and Responsibilities:

Conduct regular preventative maintenance and make any adjustments necessary including testing and examining heating, air conditioning & ventilation.
Carry out installation, maintenance, and testing of HVAC equipment.
Carry out all work to current F Gas Regulations.
Working on systems such as – VRV / VRFs, split & multi-split systems.
Working on a portfolio of mixed commercial sites.
Receiving jobs through a handheld tablet.
Complete all paperwork and documentation in a timely and accurate manner.
Ensure all work is carried out safely and completed to high quality.Candidate Requirements:

A minimum of an NVQ Level 2 in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration
Experience with industrial steam boilers (Desirable)
Knowledge of steam boiler water treatment & rotating plant.
Experience with VRV\’s, VRF\’s, chillers, and air handling units
Have commercial experience in building services or FM background
