About the Role: We are currently recruiting for a reliable and hard-working Skilled Labourer / Groundworks Assistant to join a busy, fast-paced commercial project in Cambridge. This isn’t your standard tidying role - we need someone who is happy to get stuck in with the ground crew. You will be supporting a major, well-established infrastructure and services contractor on-site.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting with basic groundworks including shallow digging, trenching, and backfilling.
- Moving materials, aggregates, and muck around the site safely.
- Supporting skilled groundworkers, pipe-layers, and machine operators.
- Maintaining site safety, clearing walkways, and general site duties as required.
What We Need From You:
- Valid CSCS Card (Essential).
- Full PPE (Hard hat, hi-vis, steel toe boots, gloves, and glasses).
- Proven experience working as a Skilled Labourer or Groundwork Labourer.
- Must be physically fit, reliable, and a good team player.
- Ability to provide a minimum of one recent, checkable work reference.
