About the Role
Randstad are seeking an experienced and driven Site Manager for an immediate start on a busy water framework contract based around the Romford area. You will be overseeing operational sites focusing on clean/waste water pipework repairs, excavations, and main laying. This is a fast-paced contract role requiring a hands-on manager who can ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and to the required quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day operations on site, ensuring all pipework repairs and excavations are carried out safely and efficiently.
- Supervise direct labor and subcontractors, ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Conduct site inductions, toolbox talks, and robust risk assessments (RAMS).
- Liaise closely with the client, local authorities, and members of the public regarding street works and disruptions.
- Maintain accurate site diaries, progress reports, and quality control documentation.
