Are you looking for a long-term freelance stint in the Southwest of Ireland? We are seeking an experienced Site Engineer to join a £20m rail signalling and civils scheme located within the province of Munster. This role is for a Site Engineer comfortable with heavy civils and managing the setting out and engineering works on this major signalling upgrade project. The role will continue for the next 9 months until the project is complete.
The selected candidate must have the Iarnród Éireann Contractor PTS / Irish Rail PTS. Our client will cover flights and accommodation for travel to Ireland from the UK. You will be responsible for the lineside civils that run alongside the new signalling schemes. This is a technical, "boots-on-the-ground" role covering:
- Earthworks & Rock Cutting: Managing the terrain to facilitate new infrastructure.
- Compounds & Foundations: Setting out and delivering the compounds that house PSPs.
- Technical Quality: Full ownership of ITPs, as-builts, and material take-offs.
- Material Management: All things concrete and steel for lineside structures.
