The predicted salary is between 14.4 - 17.6 £ per hour.

Location: Split between Ipswich and Leiston (Sizewell area)

Pay Rate: £15.50 per hour

Hours: Full-Time, 37.5 hours per week (Mon-Fri, flexible start/finish times available)

Are you an experienced Administrator with strong Excel skills, sharp attention to detail, and a proactive attitude? We are looking for an organised Site Administrator & Vetting Support Specialist to join a fast-paced, high-profile construction alliance team. This is a key operational role providing essential support across candidate security vetting, document management, and general site administration.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Vetting & Onboarding Support: Assist candidates and employers through security clearance processes, gathering, verifying, and certifying required ID and compliance documents.
  • Excel & Data Management: Track, process, and update timesheet portals, allocation sheets, plant lists, and security registers.
  • Document Control & Compliance: Maintain accurate paper-based and electronic filing systems, managing quality documents, drawings, and sub-contractor records.
  • Site Support: Coordinate day-to-day administrative tasks, liaise with construction managers, take meeting minutes, and support broader team activities as needed.

What We Are Looking For:

  • Strong Administrative Experience: Proven background in a busy administrative, HR admin, recruitment support, or site admin role.
  • Advanced IT & Excel Skills: High proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint is required.
  • Vetting/Compliance Knowledge: Prior experience with background checks, ID verification, or security clearance is a strong advantage.
  • Key Attributes: Excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to maintain absolute confidentiality with sensitive data.
  • Transport: Willing and able to travel between site locations in Ipswich and Leiston (utilising local park-and-ride/bus systems where applicable).

Mandatory Requirement Prior to Start: Candidates must hold (or pass prior to starting) the CITB Health, Safety, and Environment Touchscreen Test. (Expenses for the test will be reimbursable upon joining).
