New Handyperson position available at Randstad CPE (phone number removed) Job Title: Site Handyman Location: Sevenoaks, Kent (TN13 / TN14 / TN15) Start Date: Late October 2026 Contract Duration: Long-Term / Ongoing Pay Rate: £17.00 - £19.00 per hour (dependent on experience and pay type) About the Role We are recruiting a skilled, versatile Handyman for an upcoming position on a high-spec residential construction project in Sevenoaks, starting towards the end of October 2026. This role is ideal for a multi-skilled operative who can work independently, solve problems on site, and carry out a range of general trade duties, snagging, and basic maintenance to keep the site running smoothly through autumn and winter. Key Responsibilities Carrying out basic carpentry work (hoarding repairs, fitting locks, basic timber fixings, temporary protection). Performing basic plumbing, plaster patching, drylining repairs, and touch-up painting/decorating. Assisting the Site Manager with daily snagging lists and making good prior to site inspections. Setting up temporary site facilities, barriers, signs, and protection materials. Assisting with general site maintenance and ensuring work zones remain safe and secure. Requirements Valid CSCS Card (Blue Skilled Worker card preferred, or Green CSCS with proven trade experience). Own Hand & Power Tools (essential for general maintenance, carpentry, and fixing work). Full PPE (Steel toe-cap boots, high-vis vest/jacket, hard hat, and safety gloves). Strong, verifiable background as a Site Handyman or multi-trade operative. Punctual, reliable, and able to work off your own initiative. Right to work in the UK. Working Hours & Benefits Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM (40-45 hours per week).
