About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and safety-conscious IPAF Operator to join our team on a project based in Rochester. You will be responsible for operating Mobile Elevating Work Platforms (MEWPs) to assist on-site trades and ensure tasks at height are completed safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Safe operation of MEWP machinery (Scissor Lift / Cherry Picker) in accordance with site regulations.
- Performing pre-use safety checks and basic inspection of powered access equipment.
- Supporting on-site trades with access for installation, maintenance, or construction work.
- Maintaining strict compliance with site health and safety standards.
Requirements
- Valid IPAF Card (3a & 3b categories required).
- CSCS Card (Green or Blue).
- Proven experience operating MEWPs on commercial or residential construction sites.
- Full PPE (Hard hat, high-vis jacket, safety boots, and harness).
- Strong commitment to safety and good communication skills.
Candidates must be eligible to live and work in the UK.
