The ideal candidate should have extensive knowledge of plumbing systems, equipment, and tools, as well as a proven track record of successfully diagnosing and repairing various plumbing issues.
You will be responsible for responding to service calls, diagnosing plumbing problems, performing repairs, conducting maintenance checks, communicating with customers, and keeping accurate records of all work performed,
Duties and Responsibilities:
Responding to service calls promptly and providing timely and efficient plumbing repairs
Diagnosing the root cause of plumbing issues and determining the best course of action to resolve them
Performing a wide range of plumbing repairs, including fixing broken pipes, repairing leaky faucets, and replacing faulty water heaters
Conducting routine maintenance checks on plumbing systems to prevent issues from arising
Communicating effectively with customers, explaining the issue and providing options for resolving it
Keeping accurate records of all work performed, including time and materials used, and providing detailed invoices to customers
Maintaining a clean and organised work area and ensuring all tools and equipment are properly maintained and stored
Requirements:
NVQ or C&G or equivalent
Relevant plumbing certification or license
Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Repairs Plumber or similar role
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Strong customer service skills and ability to build and maintain positive relationships with customers
Good organisational and time management skills
Valid driver\’s license
