Full-time, temporary position (5 plus months) 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Overtime opportunities.
Duties:
- Planned, preventative maintenance, and repairs of electrical systems (e.g., distribution boards, lighting, machinery, and equipment).
- Fault-finding and troubleshooting of electrical issues that may arise across the site.
- Ensuring compliance with electrical safety regulations and standards (18th Edition, etc.).
- Responding to and addressing any electrical faults or breakdowns promptly, ensuring minimal disruption to the site's operations.
- Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on equipment to avoid future issues.
- Maintaining a safe working environment by adhering to health and safety standards.
Requirements:
- Successful completion of a recognised electrician qualification (NVQ Level 3).
- Successful completion of an electrician apprenticeship or have equivalent experience working as an electrician.
- Understanding of I.E.E. 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
- EL1 clearance.
