The Opportunity: We are looking for experienced, heavy-civils Groundworkers to join a flagship infrastructure project in Blyth. This is a long-term opportunity on a high-profile site, perfect for local operatives looking for stability and competitive regional rates. This project involves a mix of deep drainage, structural foundations, and large-scale hardstandings. We are looking for individuals or established pairs who pride themselves on high-quality work and a safety-first mindset.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deep Drainage: Installing large-bore adoptable sewers (S104) and managing complex trench-box excavations.
- Structural Groundworks: Setting out and pouring reinforced concrete (FRC) pads, bolt boxes, and industrial slabs.
- Site Services: Trenching for HV cable corridors and utility ducting.
- Finishing: High-spec kerbing, tactile paving, and road box construction.
Requirements:
- CSCS Card: Blue (Skilled Worker) preferred.
- Plant Tickets: NPORS/CPCS Forward Tipping Dumper and Ride-on Roller are highly advantageous.
- Vetting: Valid Safety Critical Medical is essential for this project.
- Experience: Proven track record in heavy civils, industrial developments, or energy infrastructure.
