Position Summary
Are you an upbeat, detail-oriented individual looking to develop your career within a world-class manufacturing environment? We are seeking Manufacturing Operator II to join our dynamic, fast-paced team in Perth. In this role, you will play a crucial part in carrying out the production process by closely following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Work Instruction Documents, and blueprints. From equipment operation to finished goods packaging, you will support the team in achieving daily production schedules and maintaining top-tier product quality goals within a collaborative, ISO/cGMP-regulated environment.
What Will You Do?
- Production & Assembly: Set up materials on the production line according to work orders, check specifications, and operate equipment (including starting, stopping, and managing conveyor speeds).
- Packaging & Labelling: Measure, weigh, count, seal, wrap, and label products/containers accurately. Pack special selections and bundles as required.
- Quality & Compliance: Follow manufacturing SOPs and meticulously complete production floor paperwork (recording weights, times, dates) as required by the Quality System.
- Line Clearance & Housekeeping: Clean, sanitize, and maintain work areas, machines, and equipment. Handle the reconciliation and disposal of materials safely.
- Systems & Documentation: Utilize manufacturing systems (such as QAD and AGILE) to print daily production schedules and required documentation.
What We Are Looking For:
- Education & Experience: Secondary Education, Advanced Certificate, or equivalent qualification. Related experience or training within a laboratory or manufacturing environment (experience can be from professional work or education/schooling).
- Skills & Abilities:
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel; ability to learn and use manufacturing systems (QAD, AGILE).
- Attention to Detail: Ability to accurately read, interpret, and follow instructions (safety rules, operating manuals, diagrams, and SOPs).
- Adaptability & Teamwork: A collaborative mindset with the ability to multitask and react quickly to changing production priorities and deadlines.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand and move about (reaching, bending, grasping), use hand tools, and infrequently lift/manipulate up to 50 lbs (approx. 22kg) unassisted.
- Safety & Compliance: Understanding of chemical hygiene and comfort wearing required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

- Workplace: Strictly on-site environment operating under high standards of safety and cleanliness (ISO/cGMP Quality System Regulations).
- Dress Code: Safety glasses required; no makeup or jewelry permitted on the production floor.
- PPE: Safety boots are to be provided by the candidate/supplier; all other specialized PPE will be fully provided by the company.
- Background Check: Success in this role is subject to a standard background check.
