Maintenance Engineer

I am looking for an experienced Maintenance Engineer to work in the West Sussex area. The perfect applicant will have knowledge and experience working on projects within wastewater or water treatment.

Role: Maintenance Engineer

Location: West Sussex

Contract: Freelance

Rate: 250 per day

Duties will include:

• Completing activities in line with the prepared maintenance tasks incl log of activities completed
• General site awareness inspection
• Monitoring plant operation
• Maintaining a site visit log
• Inspection of site log incl accessing SCADA / HMI to identify failures
• Maintenance tasks are related to wastewater treatment plants & may include
• Oil / grease lubrication
• Visual inspections
• Water / FE filter cleaning
• Equipment cleaning
• Checking for wear

Skills Required:

• Previous experience within water treatment (Non-Infrastructure)
• Mechanical or Electrical qualification required
• CSCS

Skills Desirable:

• Ambitious and dynamic personality
• MEICA/Civil works multi-disciplined interfacing
• Experience of working on Water Industry construction projects, preferably with experience of large and complex deliveries
• Someone with a commitment to Right first time
