Do you have Sprayed Concrete Lining experience? Do you think you could handle working in a fast-paced environment? I'm looking for an SCL Shift Engineer to work on a major tunneling project in the Capital of England. This position is working on a market leading tier 1 JV and will continue for up to 18-24 months. The selected candidate will have previous experience working in a tunneling environment and being a part of a team of SCL Engineers.

Location: London

Contract length: 18 months

Day rate: dependant on experience

Roles and responsibilities:

  • Reporting to the Sub Agent
  • Liaising with clients, subcontractors and the design team
  • Preparing and writing RAMS and ITP's
  • Site set up and compliance with health and safety
  • Planning and programming of the works 3 weeks ahead
  • Attending weekly progress meetings
  • Management of site/setting out engineers

Candidate Requirements:

  • Degree qualified in Civil Engineering or equivalent
  • Experience working with a recognised tier 1 contractor
  • Excellent communication and organisation skills
  • A valid CSCS card
