The Infrastructure team within Randstad's Construction & Property division is one of our most successful hubs. We are currently looking for a hungry, target-driven Delivery Consultant to dominate the freelance white-collar market across London's major Rail and Civil Engineering mega-projects.
The Role
As a Delivery Consultant, your focus is entirely on candidate delivery and fulfillment. You are the engine room of the desk-sourcing, vetting, and placing top-tier freelance white-collar professionals into pre-existing, hot accounts. This isn’t a cold-calling role where you have to build a desk from scratch. You will be partnering directly with a highly experienced Manager in the team. Their sole focus is on business development-building relationships with top-tier contractors, winning major PSL agreements, and feeding high-volume freelance roles directly to you.
Your Mission: Your manager brings in the vacancies; you find the talent. Together, you will form a high-speed, high-billing partnership.
Key Responsibilities
- Candidate Sourcing: Proactively hunting for freelance professionals using job boards, internal databases, and networking.
- Talent Pooling: Building a deep, responsive pipeline of immediately available freelance contractors across London and the South East.
- Vetting & Compliance: Screening candidates thoroughly to ensure they have the exact technical capabilities and compliance paperwork required for major infrastructure projects.
The Market
You will be delivering elite white-collar professionals strictly into the Rail and Civil Engineering sectors. Every single role you fill will be a freelance / contract position, meaning fast placements, quick turnaround times, and high volume. You will specialize in sourcing candidates for:
- Engineering: Project Managers, Section Engineers, Site Engineers
- Design & Planning: Design Managers, Project Planners
- Quality & Assurance: Quality Managers, QA Engineers
- Commercial: Quantity Surveyors, Commercial Managers
- M&E: Mechanical & Electrical Managers, M&E Advisors
Who You Are
- High Achiever: You aren’t satisfied with just hitting the baseline. You want to exceed targets and be a top biller.
- Resilient & Hardworking: The freelance market moves incredibly fast. You need a high work rate, urgency, and the ability to bounce back quickly when a candidate drops out.
- Target-Driven: You love competition, leaderboard tracking, and the financial rewards that come with hitting your numbers.
