Are you a highly skilled and meticulous Finisher / Snagger with an exceptional eye for detail? We are seeking a dedicated professional for a contract role on a busy new build housing development in Hull.
The Role: You will be responsible for ensuring properties are completed to the highest standard, ready for handover to the customer. Your main focus will be rectifying minor defects and achieving a flawless finish across multiple plots.
Duties will include, but are not limited to:
- Rectifying Defects: Identifying and addressing all snagging issues reported on occupied and unoccupied plots.
- Multi-skilled Tasks: Performing high-quality finishing touches, including minor joinery repairs (e.g., hanging doors, adjusting frames), patch plastering, painting/decorating touch-ups, and mastic application.
- Customer Care: Ensuring all work is completed efficiently, cleanly, and to the required quality standards. Liaising professionally with Site Management and other trades.
What We Require:
- Experience: Proven, extensive experience as a Snagger or Finisher on new build housing developments.
- Skill Set: Must be genuinely multi-skilled with a high standard of finish in various trades (Joinery, Plastering, Painting). A valid CSCS Card is essential.
- Own reliable tools suitable for finishing work (essential).
- Excellent attention to detail and a proactive approach to work.
- High level of reliability and professionalism.
