Are you a hardworking labourer looking for long-term stability? We are currently recruiting for a reliable individual to join a major new commercial development in Kilmarnock. This is an ongoing contract role with a leading main contractor, offering consistent hours and steady work for the right person as the project progresses through its main build phases.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintaining a safe, tidy, and hazard-free site by managing waste and clearing work areas.
- Assisting various commercial subcontractors (Groundworkers, Joiners, Bricklayers) with material distribution.
- Loading and unloading large-scale commercial site deliveries.
- Setting up, moving, and maintaining site edge protection and fencing.
- Carrying out general welfare and site maintenance tasks as directed by the management team.
Requirements:
- Valid CSCS card (Essential).
- Previous experience working on commercial, industrial, or large-scale construction sites.
- Full PPE (Hard hat, high-vis vest/trousers, steel toe boots).
- A proactive, "get-stuck-in" attitude and a strong work ethic.
- Excellent reliability and punctuality.
- Easy access to the Kilmarnock area (conveniently located for those commuting from Ayrshire, Glasgow, or East Renfrewshire).
