The Role

We are looking for a heavy-civil General Foreman to lead the site delivery of a major concrete viaduct in Folkestone. You will be responsible for the day-to-day management of all site activities, coordinating labour, plant, and materials to ensure the reinforced concrete structures are delivered safely, on time, and to the required quality. You will be the bridge between the engineering team and the site gangs, turning structural drawings into a high-cadence production reality.

Key Responsibilities

  • Site Leadership: Manage and motivate multi-disciplinary gangs (Steelfixers, Carpenters, and Concretors) to meet daily production targets.
  • Concrete Execution: Supervise the delivery of major RC elements-from deep foundations and pile caps to the casting of viaduct piers and decks. Plant look-ahead programmes, ensuring that formwork is ready, rebar is tied, and inspections are completed before the wagons arrive.
  • Temporary Works: Oversee the installation and strike of temporary works.
