Rate: £21.00 - £22.00 per hour (Dependent on experience / ticket endorsements)

Hours: 40 - 50 hours per week (Monday - Friday)

About the Role

We are currently recruiting an experienced 360 Excavator Operator for an ongoing project in the Tilbury, Essex area. You will be responsible for operating tracked excavators (above and below 10-tonne) safely and efficiently, working alongside site management and groundworkers to complete excavation, deep drainage, and utility works to tight schedules.

Key Responsibilities

  • Safe operation of 360 Excavator machines on busy civil engineering / groundworks sites.
  • Executing deep drainage, trenching, grading, and backfilling operations.
  • Carrying out safe lifting operations when appropriately ticketed.
  • Working safely around live utilities and existing underground infrastructure.
  • Loading dumpers and site transport efficiently.
  • Conducting daily pre-start checks and reporting mechanical issues immediately.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • CPCS or NPORS Card: Valid Blue Competent Operator Card for 360 Excavator (Above & Below 10T) with CSCS logo.
  • Lifting Operations: Lifting Ops endorsement strongly preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum 2-3 years' proven experience operating 360 excavators on civil or groundworks sites.
